Sparkle confirmed resolution is in place. We consider the situation resolved.
The situation has been ongoing for several days during EMEA peak time, with 300ms+ on FRA metro transport. As a result, Sparkle remains disabled.
No ETR is currently provided by Sparkle.
The same situation was observed on 04.11 during peak time, resulting in congestion towards various targets terminated or traversing PE router in DRT campus. A ticket has been opened and Telecom Italia acknowledged the congestion. Session will remain drained until restoration is in place.
No customer impact is expected.
We are currently observing high latency via carrier Telecom Italia Sparkle towards various targets due to congestion between Frankfurt Equinix 5 and Frankfurt DRT Campus.
To avoid further impact, the carrier has been drained.
Unfortunately, Telecom Italia has proven to not be as premium as they advertise on their website. As this is not the first issue we've observed due to their transport, we will re-evaluate its presence in the IPT mix.
