Various configuration changes have been applied to mitigate reoccurring in the future. We apologies for any inconveniences caused.

We are currently observing partial unavailability of one subnet, impacting a small subset of customers.

The issue was caused due to misconfiguration of Fastnetmon, announcing a more specific which should only be inserted in RIB, but was inserted in FIB as well, leading to brief nullroute of traffic.

The issue has been resolved after ~2 minutes.

Cogent turned up a new link because of the observed issue and stable single stream performance is archived again.

While we are still waiting for RFO what caused this, the incident is resolved.

Investigating

Cogent NOC is investigating on the root cause. The situation remains unresolved for now.

As the issue is not as severe, the upstream remains enabled. We will continue to monitor the situation and intervene when necessary.

We are currently observing slow single TCP stream performance via upstream Cogent towards various targets.

A ticket with the carrier has been created and we are currently awaiting clarification.
