The issue affecting routes transiting Telecom Italia has been mitigated. Latency has returned to normal levels, and BGP sessions with Telecom Italia have been reactivated. We will continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure continued stability.
We are currently observing high latency on routes transiting Telecom Italia, primarily affecting destinations within Italy.
As a mitigation step, BGP sessions with Telecom Italia have been disabled, and traffic has been rerouted. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as necessary.
Carrier are stable since recovery. We consider the situation resolved.
RFO from Orange:
there was a Provider data center power maintenance which was supposed to affect only one PDU and 2nd PDU was supposed to be available, however after the first PDU went down, there was a power surge which impacted surviving PDU and caused Router isolation
Technicians turned PDU on manually to restore the device.
Also our provider confirmed that Power Maintenance has also been completed

We will monitor the situation further but do not expect any service disruption.
We are currently observing ongoing outage of various carriers due to partial power outage in Equinix FRA5 within one carrier colo.
Due to redundancy concept, even the outage of multiple carriers has no noticeable impact for production traffic and was automatically shifted towards other carriers.
