Our DE-CIX ports in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, and Munich are currently disabled due to multiple ongoing maintenance activities on the DE-CIX side.
Instead of draining and restoring the ports for each individual maintenance window, we’ve decided to keep them disabled until all planned maintenance work has been completed. The current expectation is for the maintenance to be finished by the end of August.
No customer impact is expected.
The ports will be re-enabled once all maintenance activities have been completed.
The incident was caused by a fibercut impacting 96 fibers near Hamburg. The cable has been spliced and the incident is resolved.
We are currently observing high latency and packetloss via Arelion towards various targets in the nordics (NO/FI/SE). To avoid further impact, sessions have been drained.
