We have been informed by NTT GDC that there is ongoing power maintenance on both feeds, during which external grid connectivity has been cut to perform maintenance on the grid handover.
At this time, building E,F,G & H are running on generators, and transfer back to the grid will be performed once maintenance is completed.
While the situation is being closely monitored by NTT on-site staff and no issues are expected, this is an out-of-the-ordinary situation and therefore a risk of impact remains.
Original message by NTT:
Dear Client,
We would like to inform you that the planned transfer to generator operation has been successfully completed. Currently,
Building F/G is in backup power mode and is being fully supplied by the generator system.
The return to normal power supply will take place once clearance and re-connection have been authorized by the responsible utility provider at the communicated time.
If you notice any technical issues, please contact us at the following email address: dc.emea.support@global.ntt.
Kind regards,
Technical Support Center on behalf of FRA1

Situation seems mostly stable right now, and some sessions have been re-enabled. We will continue to monitor.
We are currently observing high latency via various carriers (Cogent + Sparkle) towards various targets, most likely related towards ongoing DDoS attacks.
Both carriers have been drain to mitigate the impact.
Within the last weeks, Sparkle in particular has not met our expectation as a solid transit carrier. We will re-evaluate its presence in the current IPT mix.
